Bicentennial Man is a science fiction movie directed by Chris Columbus and starring Robin Williams, that was released in 1999.[1][2]

The movie is based on a novelette written by Isaac Asimov.[3]

Plot

The movie follows the story of a robot named Andrew, originally programmed to perform a variety of mundane tasks who later begins to develop emotions and the ability of creative thought.[4]
