Brain Corporation is a research company developing neuromorphic machines (software and hardware), with a focus on neuromorphic computer vision, motor control and autonomous robotics.[1] It is located at QRC-224L, 5665 Morehouse Drive, San Diego, CA, 92121.

The company was founded by Eugene Izhikevich and Allan Gruber in 2009.[2]

Most of the funding came from Qualcomm Ventures in July 2009, as part of a multi-year contract to develop a spiking model of the visual system. Qualcomm provided further funding in September 2011 to hire more research scientists. DARPA further funded them in November 2010 to design artificial nervous systems for UAVs.
