Death Becomes Her is a 1992 rom-com (romantic comedy) science fantasy movie starring Meryl Streep and directed by Robert Zemeckis.

Plot

A woman (Meryl Streep) who splits up with her partner and ends up in a psychiatric ward, later returns to see her former lover who has now married another.

Curious to know how she has become so radiant, the man's new wife inquires as to how she has done it and discovers that she has been taking a mysterious drug that grants her eternal life, but at a cost.

Transhumanist Elements

The drug in the movie could be seen to be some kind of biological rejuvenation therapy, giving the main character an extended healthspan.

It also raises questions in regards to rejuveneering psychological issues.
