District 9 is a 2009 science fantasy/fiction movie directed by Neill Blomkamp (Elysium, Chappie).[1]

Plot

Aliens who have fled their planet in order to find refuge on Earth in an alternate 1982, find themselves subjected to life inside "District 9" a kind of quarantine/segregated zone, separated and under the watch of Humans.

The Aliens have brought with them advanced technologies, and people are trying to get their hands on it.

When a man becomes infected during a mission inside Section 9, he begins to change into one of them.
