Elon Musk is a entrepreneur know for many projects including co-founding Paypal with Peter Thiel, Tesla Motors, SolarCity and SpaceX.

According to David Pearce, Musk is ambivalent towards the idea of transhumanism. When however in June 2016 he started advocating neural enhancement, it's fair to describe him as a de facto transhumanist.[1]

Luddite award

Controversially, at the end of 2015, Musk was nominated "Luddite of the year" by the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation for advocacy around AI risk.[2]
