The Extropy Institute was a US think tank founded by Max More to study libertarian transhumanism. Its philosophy was Extropianism.
In 2006 the organisation closed, declaring its mission 'essentially completed,'[2] presenting a strategic plan for transhumanists to carry on its work going forward.[3]
