Libertarianism is a political philosophy that puts the liberty of people as its core principle, and advocates for fewer interferences in people's lives from the state.
Libertarian can refer to a person who believes or advocates for libertarianism, and may also refer to how a particular political policy may be viewed, such as; "Taxation is not libertarian" as an example.
Features of Libertarianism
Libertarianism is not strictly Left, or Right wing based in its principles. Libertarians can be found on both sides of the political spectrum.
