Transdisciplinary Agora for Future Discussions
Transdisciplinary Agora for Future Discussions (TAFFD's) is a think tank dedicated "to helping people understand the benefits and challenges of technology applied to high-impact industries and disciplines across the world". It is a nongovernmental organization (NGO) registered as nonprofit in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. TAFFD's publishes a successful magazine and has a project underway to publish a journal as well.
TAFFD's was founded in January 2019 by Ósìnàkáchì Ákùmà Kálù, a transhumanist from Nigeria. Transhumanist William Coburn served as CEO. In October 2019 they hosted a conference at the University of Rwanda called the International Conference on Technoscientific Awareness in Solving 21st Century Problems which featured transhumanists Dinorah Delfin , Didier Coeurnelle , Aubrey de Grey, and many others. In spring 2020 they hosted a "Conference on Future Africa" which featured many transhumanists as speakers including Gennady Stolyarov II, Ilia Stambler , Daniel Elton , and Tom Ross. The conference was supposed to be in the startup hub of Kigali, Rwanda but was moved to be a virtual event due to the COVID19 pandemic.
