David is a Technologist, Futurist, Explorer, Transhumanist, Cryonicist, and ENFJ. Applied Innovation defined by David is using creative thinking, collaboration, commitment, and behavior changes to close the gap between theory and practice.
David’s profession is technical skills tutoring, coaching, training, instructing, and speaking. His instruction assignments included both private and public institutions, and he has extensive field experience with multiple Fortune 500 companies. He is a certified systems engineer, administrator, and trainer. David’s technology career began in the United States Air Force where he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant (E9).
Since an early age David considered himself both a futurist and explorer. He is energized seeing technology he once dreamed of, progressing from concept to prototype to product to commodity. In addition to his own military career, he grew up in a military family and resided and traveled extensively in the United States and in other countries. He experienced many other cultures, their technologies and values.
A few years ago, David was introduced to transhumanism via a super-longevity community at the RAADfest Conference – Revolution Against Aging and Death. There he met Chairman Stolyarov, and other officers and transhumanists interested in a techno-positive future for humanity. Transhumanism was a perfect fit for David’s futurist and explorer traits and his profound interest in super-longevity.
David’s involvement in transhumanism and super longevity includes roles as prior Vice-Chair and now Chair of the Arizona Transhumanist Party, He is a registered Cryonics Member at ALCOR and holds membership in the following organizations: U.S. Transhumanist Party, Coalition for Radical Life Extension, Humanity+, World Future Society, and Lifeboat Foundation. David makes periodic monetary donations to SENS Research Foundation, Life Extension Advocacy Foundation, The Planetary Society, Lifeboat Foundation, ALCOR, the Coalition for Radical Life Extension, and perhaps a few other organizations.
