The Oxford Graduate Festival of Ideas was a one-day event held in Oxford hosted by the Ditchley Foundation on July 15 2017.[1][2] It was:

A day-long event of talks and panel discussions. From art history to robotics, the day will revolve around the theme of ‘Future human: Adapting to an ever-changing world,’ providing an opportunity to bring the heated, revolutionary debates of Oxford pubs and MCRs to the stately halls and resplendent gardens of Ditchley Park.

Deku-shrub gave a talk[citation needed] covering the history, people and ideas most closely associated with transhumanism. In the afternoon he participated in a panel on artificial intelligence and the self, discussing a range of bioethical, philosophical and sociological implications of accelerating technological trends.
