FYI

CC BY means that copying from Wikipedia is not allowed (although probably that shouldn't be encouraged anyway, so maybe it's not a big deal). [Actually, can we copy from Wikipedia but add a notice that says that the article is under CC BY-SA and not CC BY? Not sure how that works.] Also, CC BY-SA doesn't ban commercial use, per se, it just means that if they improve the work then the modified version must also be open/freely licensed. It does not prohibit selling the modified version. In practice, this might discourage some forms of commercial use, but I don't see why anyone would use content from H+Pedia for commercial purposes anyway. And in most of the cases I imagine (e.g., selling physical copies of the wiki), it wouldn't really matter. Ignoranceprior (talk) 21:53, 1 December 2017 (CST)

Basically I don't want to ever fight that battle. I'm happy archive.org snapshots would defend the site against prospective trolls Deku-shrub (talk) 05:22, 2 December 2017 (CST)
