But what about the Technocracy Movement?

The original Technocrats were extremely progressive for their time, and certainly not centrists or elitists, advocating for their particular system of economic-social organization. And they even accepted women and black people in an era when doing such (1930s) was not considered socially acceptable in many places.

Also as a side note, the USSR had many "engineers" which had mostly honorary degrees and were in fact careerist politicians. It is why things like Lysenkoism happened at all. Archduke (talk) 07:34, 8 July 2018 (CDT)
